Last August 30, AIDGLOBAL participated in a meeting promoted by the Lisbon Youth Centre of the Portuguese Youth Institute (IPDJ), as part of the visit of a delegation from the Guinea-Bissau Youth Institute, led by Mamadu Queta, coordinator of programs of this Institute.
The visit comes within the scope of cooperation with Guinea-Bissau, a Portuguese-speaking African country, and multilateral/CPLP cooperation.
The objective of strengthening ties and the visit of the delegation to the IPDJ, between August 27 and 31, aimed to create an action plan until and during 2022, in accordance with the interests and availability of both parties involved.
In the past, AIDGLOBAL supported an orphanage in Guinea-Bissau, equipping it with bunk beds, mattresses, pans, crockery, among other materials. Books were also sent to what would have been the first private university to be born in Bissau: Colinas de Boé.
