Digital Education: European project starts from a pandemic experience to ensure a better quality of teaching in a digital context

“Digital Education: part of a pathway for Social Inclusion?” is the question that imposes itself and that opens the first of a set of initiatives carried out within the European project “Beyond COVID-19: The new era of Teaching. Digital learning for social inclusion”.

Scheduled for December 21st, between 2:30pm and 7:00pm, via Zoom, the action aims to present the results of a first National Report which presents an analysis of the needs that exist in Portugal regarding education, namely in the digital context.

The impact of Covid-19 on the Portuguese educational ecosystem; the implementation of various improvised teaching approaches and practices that the pandemic circumstances precipitated; the pressing training needs of teachers and educators; the relationship between digital technologies and teaching, and the risks and opportunities that cross this area of study, are some of the themes in focus.

Throughout the event there will also be two moments of reflection-discussion reserved for questioning the inclusive dimension of education in a digital context and the presentation of some of the projects that, in Portugal, represent part of the investment that has been made in this area.

Entrance is free, but registration is mandatory and must be formalized by filling out the form available here: https://forms.gle/nL51Qf7ip87oAsPB6.
