Registrations are open for the course "Urban Agriculture and Community Rehabilitation"

Registrations are open for the course "Urban Agriculture and Community Rehabilitation", promoted by the Urbagri4Women project. The sessions will be held once a week, in the morning, starting in March, at Quinta da Fonte, Apelação, and at Terraços da Ponte Urbanization, in Sacavém, Loures.

This 45-hour course is for migrant women who do not have Portuguese nationality and aims to help them develop rehabilitation projects for outdoor spaces.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about urban agriculture, entrepreneurship, and healthy eating habits and create and implement their projects in the community.

With the primary goal of contributing to the effective inclusion policy of migrants in the European Union (EU), the Urbagri4Women project implements initiatives that promote social inclusion and female empowerment. It is co-financed by the European Commission through the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund and involves 7 organizations from 7 EU countries.

Apply by sending an e-mail to [email protected] until February 28, 2018. Learn more about the Urbagri4Women project here.
