The “Schools of Politics for Global Citizenship” event will take place on 20th and 21st of May at the headquarters of the Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth (IPDJ) in Moscavide. Admission is free and registration is now open.

The initiative aims to mobilise young people through reflection and dialogue on contemporary issues, such as youth political participation, gender equality, climate change, migration and political participation through digital, with social transformation as the horizon for action.

Several speakers will be invited to join AIDGLOBAL in this mission to raise young people’s awareness of the importance of greater participation in the political sphere, through awareness of the relevance of these themes. For this purpose, the event will be composed of four workshops each dedicated to one of the themes mentioned above. After that, there will be room for debate on the topics discussed, encouraging active participation.

The opening session will start at 4:15 pm and the session is scheduled to end at 8 p.m. On the second and last day of the event, the reception to the participants and students will take place between 9: 45 am and 10: 00 am and the end of the session should take place around 7: 45 pm. It should be noted that there will be several breaks.
