Between November 6th and 12th, the Instituto Português do Desporto e da Juventude (IPDJ I.P.) and the Lisbon Youth Centre (CJL) hosted a delegation from Finland with 25 representatives from different youth organizations and youth coaches from the Helsinki Municipality.
Making known the work that has been done, in Portugal, in matters of youth and youth policies was one of the objectives that guided the program of the Finnish group’s visit.
AIDGLOBAL was present on the afternoon of November 8 to share with the youth associations the work that has been developed by the Organization over the past 16 years in Portugal and Mozambique in areas such as Education for Development and Development Cooperation.
AIDGLOBAL was joined by DYPALL Network (Developing Youth Participation at Local Level), the Portuguese Youth Network for Equal Opportunities between Women and Men (REDE), the Centro Nacional da Juventude (CNJ) (National Youth Council), the Federação Nacional das Associações Juvenis (FNAJ) (Portuguese Youth Federation) and the Associação Portuguesa de Profissionais de Juventude (Portuguese Association of Youth Professionals) (APP Juventude).
