AIDGLOBAL in Greece with the Urbagri4Women project

Coordination meeting in the city of Larissa


On May 21st and 22nd, AIDGLOBAL travelled to Larissa, Greece, for the fourth coordination meeting of the Urbagri4Women project. iED was the host Organization, and, except for Südwind, all the partners were in attendance. The results reached so far were discussed as well as the many activities in progress in each one of the countries, notably the urban agriculture labs.

During the meeting, other actions and activities that are prospected until the end of the project were planned, notably the drafting of the declaration and of the green paper on the integration of migrant women and the final event that will take place in Lisbon on November 8th and 9th 2018. (Greece), Südwind (Austria), and TAMAT, organizer of the initiative (Italy).

Urbagri4Women aims to foster the integration of migrant women in their host society, training and empowering them to develop agricultural subsistence projects. It is part-financed by the European Commission through the “Asylum, Migration and Integration” Fund.
