The afternoon of July 23, 2019 was lived in a very special way in the AIDGLOBAL Mozambican Delegation - the first decade of its foundation was celebrated.
The Delegation has been present in the district of Chibuto, Gaza Province, in partnership with local authorities, particularly as regards the fight against illiteracy, low reading levels, access to the book and infoexclusion within the framework of the Cooperation for Development.
Recently, the delegation saw its physical condition improved with works and paintings, which made it possible for Castigo, Rita, Carolina, Vitória and Domingos, members of the team, to receive, at their premises, the guests of the celebration party - partners, supporters, friends and family - in which the music was the background of a conviviality, typical food, birthday cake and champagne and the song "Happy Birthday" was sung.
This festive afternoon also marks a way to involve you in our projects, the benefit of the communities, through a campaign that aims to support and facilitate the solidarity commitment of the teachers who are part of the School Library Network and that, for the most part, jointly and severally travel great distances in harsh conditions. For them, 22 bicycles are being raised, in partnership with Mozambikes (www.mozambikes.com/pt/) which will also provide spare parts and accessories, basic bicycle care and maintenance training.
