In the week of July 10th to 14th, 2023, meetings were held in each of the five Little Community Schools of Chibuto, one per day, with the Community Management Councils, within the scope of activity 2.1. “Monitor and Train 6 Community Management Councils” of the Project “Educadores em Movimento – Uma Educação Itinerante para a Primeira Infância – Phase II”.
The action was an initiative of AIDGLOBAL and had as its main objective “To monitor and train, in the work context, 6 Community Management Councils, to reinforce their knowledge about the operation and management of the Little Schools” involved in the project — Bairro 25 de Junho U2, Chaimite, Chiconelane, Maivene and Malehice.
The meetings were facilitated by the technical team of AIDGLOBAL - the Mozambique Delegation Manager, Castigo Tchume, the Project Technician, Jéssica Sitoe, the Education Assistant Technician, Ledieta Bombe -, with the presence of members of the respective Community Management Councils, Animators / "Educators on the Move" of the respective Little School, members of the Local Authorities, Community Representatives and partner members, who were given the main information on the functioning of the Little Community Schools in the first six months.

At the end of each meeting, everyone had the opportunity to give their opinion on the topics presented, and there were several suggestions they left, so that the next six months of operation of the Little School run in the best possible way.
In view of the integral development of preschool children and constituting a necessary response to the Education of children between 3 and 6 years old, in the District of Chibuto, the 2nd Phase of the project “Educadores em Movimento – Uma Educação Itinerante para a Primeira Infância – Phase II”, has as its main funder the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and as partners of AIDGLOBAL, which manages and promotes it, the District Service of Education, Youth and Technology of Chibuto (SDJET) and the District Service of Health, Women and Social Action (SDSMAS) - entities that guarantee the articulation of the project with public policies.
