The webinar “Healthy snacks: how to convince my children” will take place on June 25th, 2020 at 6:30PM via Zoom and Facebook live. It aims to promote the importance of healthy and sustainable food and shares practical snack recipes that children can take to school.

The webinar is presented by chef Tia Cátia from the television channel 24 Kitchen and commented by the nutritionist Nádia Brazão, who participate in this event in solidarity for their commitment to sustainable consumption. Parents and children will share some recipes throughout the session.

One way to participate is through the Zoom Platform where you can ask questions and make comments at the end. Registration for the call is mandatory and can be done through the link: encurtador.com.br/ksW56. It is limited to 100 places.

You can also participate through the Facebook page of the Basic and Secondary School Professor Dr. Francisco de Freitas Branco, Porto Santo: https://www.facebook.com/escolabsportosanto/

The event is free and open to the general public. However, priority is given to the registrations from the educational community of the organizing school.

This is the first meeting of a cycle of dialogue and reflection aimed at those in charge of education and the relatives of the students of this school in order to involve the students' relatives in reflection-action processes to promote citizenship and create synergies with another project - the Healthy School Buffet Network Club.

The initiative is part of the Action Plan called “From School to the World - Act, Include, Transform”, which is promoted by NGO AIDGLOBAL and the Basic and Secondary School Professor Dr. Francisco de Freitas Branco, Porto Santo, and has the support of Association of Parents and Guardians of E.B.+S Porto Santo.

The Action Plan is part of the Active Citizens Fund (EEA Grants) and promoted by Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian and Fundação Bissaya Barreto through the Education for Citizenship project, which is implemented by Fundação Gonçalo da Silveira and Centro de Investigação para o Desenvolvimento Humano at the Portuguese Catholic University.
