Second teacher’s trainning in Estremoz comes to an end

Active teaching-learning processes at the service of Education for Development


AIDGLOBAL concluded, on June 3, in Estremoz, the training for teachers “Global Citizenship and the Sustainable Development Goals at School”.
 
In this last session, the School Sebastião da Gama, which belongs to the Estremoz School Group, donated, through their students, books and games destined for the Organization’s libraries in Mozambique.

This 25 hour course was attended by 25 teachers from the 3rd cycle and Secondary Education, intended to promote critical reflection on themes related to Education for Development (ED), as well as raising awareness to the importance of including these tipology of activities In the classroom and school library context.

In this framework, the sessions include the following components: planning, implementing and evaluating pedagogical proposals that articulate the topics regarding ED with the official curriculum contents.

This action was carried out under the project "Education for GloCal Issues", co-financed by Camões I.P. And promoted by Monte, ACE - Development of Central Alentejo, in partnership with AIDGLOBAL, SDP Sul and Sugo Design.
