Seminar "Climate Crisis and Global Inequalities: Educating for a Solidary way of Life" at the Lisbon Youth Center.

This event invites everyone to reflect on the urgency of a socio-ecological transformation, as it addresses how a solidary way of life can be the key to building an economically just and equitable world and society.

During the seminar, key topics will be discussed, such as:

• The need to rethink our way of life to mitigate the impacts of the climate crisis;
• The solidary way of life as the key to a more ethical and sustainable way of living;
• The vital role of education in raising awareness of the impacts of a solidary way of life in promoting sustainability.

This is a crucial moment to discuss solutions for a fairer and more sustainable future, sharing ideas on how education can be a tool for transformation.

The meeting takes place within the framework of the "Re:Thinking Global!" project, which aims to anchor alternative concepts and approaches for socio-ecological transformation in the field of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) and Global Learning in Europe. The project seeks to provide teaching and informational materials that empower teachers and staff of organizations to promote more sustainable and inclusive educational practices.

The seminar is one of many actions that are part of this project, whose goal is to deepen the knowledge of sustainable lifestyles and contribute to the development of informed citizenship, committed to the fight against Climate Change.
