Increasing the involvement of young people in promoting the SDGs by promoting activities to raise the awareness of the training of young leaders.
Creating a replicable and innovative education model for Global Citizenship that integrates the development issues addressed in the 2030 Agenda that is adaptable to formal education curricula.
It is necessary to create opportunities and space for reflection and action in which young people can get involved in issues related to global citizenship and sustainable development. There is an urgent need to promote a culture of peace, respect for human rights and co-responsibility on a global scale. For this reason, the “Walk the Global Walk” project strived to develop European partnerships between local authorities and communities, creating a common educational structure within the formal education system, which supports and promotes the SDGs in 11 European countries: Italy, France, Croatia, Cyprus, United Kingdom (Wales and Scotland), Portugal, Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Albania.
In the 2019/2020 academic year all efforts from knowledge to action, from problems to solutions focused on SDG 13: Climate Action.
In the 2020/2021 academic year all efforts - from reflection to action, from transformation to promoting a culture of peace - will focus on SDG 16 - Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions.
Teachers Briefing Pack 3 – SDG 16 (2020/2021)
It is a support manual for teachers of the 3rd Cycle and secondary education to work on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in particular number 16. It includes pedagogical proposals on Peace and Justice (social, economic and climate), in addition to promoting reflection on the importance of having effective and responsible institutions.

Teachers Briefing Pack 2 – SDG 13 (2019/2020)
It is a manual to support teachers that participate in the scope of the second year of the project “Walk the Global Walk”. It contains fundamental information about the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly the goal number 13 (Climate Action), as well as 6 session plans to be developed in classrooms or in any other educational context.
Teachers Briefing Pack 1 – SDG 11 (2018/2019)
It is a simple and accessible tool which is aimed at teachers (2nd and 3rd cycle teachers and secondary education) who want to incorporate the themes and methods of Education for Global Citizenship in the discipline they teach. The guide focuses in particular on SDG 11: making cities and communities inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable.
