The partners of the “Porto Santo Without Marine Waste” project invite all companies with representation in Porto Santo to adhere to the informal certification seal promoted within the scope of the project.
The establishment adhering to “Porto Santo Without Marine Waste” undertakes to meet targets and indicators based on good practices of the adhering establishment, within the scope of the reduction of potential marine litter.
The criteria for the Seal were defined based on various participatory moments that have been carried out since January 2021 with the population and public and private entities, through a survey and participatory workshops.
On June 23, there will be a formal moment for signing commitments with the first companies to adhere to the Seal. However, joining this initiative can be made at any time throughout 2021.
