AIDGLOBAL is promoting, until June 3, in Estremoz, a new training stage for teachers called “Global Citizenship and the Sustainable Development Goals at School”.
The training program, which started on April 22, involving 25 teachers of the 3rd cycle and Secondary Education, is presential and has the duration of 25 hours.
The objective of this training program is to promote critical reflexion over topics regarding Education for Development (ED), as well as to encourage class and library activities, whilst raising awareness towards the Sustainable Development Goals and the promotion of Global Citizenship.
In this framework, the sessions include the following components: planning, implementing and evaluating pedagogical proposals that articulate the topics regarding ED with the official curriculum contents.
These training actions are a part of the Education for GloCal Issues project, which is co-financed by the Camões Institute I.P. and promoted by Monte, ACE – Development of Central Alentejo, in partnership with AIDGLOBAL, SDP Sul and Sugo Design.
