The second training for teachers in Estremoz comes to an end

Initiative involved 25 teachers of the 3rd cycle and Secondary Education

As part of the “Education for GloCal Issues” project, AIDGLOBAL concluded, on June 3, in Estremoz, the training for teachers “Global Citizenship and the Sustainable Development Goals at School”.

In this last session, the Sebastião da Gama School of the Estremoz School Group donated, in an initiative carried out by its students, books and games for the libraries that the Organization supports in Mozambique.

The face-to-face course, with a total duration of 25 hours, aimed to promote critical reflection on themes dedicated to Development Education (DE) and raise awareness for the realization of resulting activities, in the context of the classroom and school library.

The sessions had, in this context, a component of planning, implementation and evaluation of pedagogical proposals that articulated the themes of DE with the official contents of the subjects.

This action was carried out under the “Education for GloCal Issues” project, co-financed by Camões I.P. and promoted by Monte, ACE – Desenvolvimento do Alentejo Central, in partnership with AIDGLOBAL, SDP Sul and Sugo Design.
