On June 1, to celebrate World Children's Day, a joint snack was organized for the little ones from the district of Chibuto who attend the Community Schools of Chiconelane, Chaimite, Maivene, Malehice and Bairro 25 de Junho.
The celebrations, promoted by the team of AIDGLOBAL, Organization responsible for the launch and management of the project “Educators on the Move – An Itinerant Education for Early Childhood”, which is in the 2nd phase of implementation, had the help of the Education Officers of the children who attend them and were attended by members of the Community Management Councils, a member of the Team of the organization by Escolinha and the Animators / "Educators on the Move" belonging to each educational community.
The children were able to celebrate the day with great joy, participating in several playful-pedagogical activities, alluding to the Rights of the Child — games, songs, poems, balloons, drawings and a puppet theater —, complemented by breakfasts and special lunches provided by each of the schools.
The presence of children and Animators / "Educators in Movement" from the 5 communities was significant. We registered: 39 children and the 6 Educators from Escolinha do Bairro 25 de Junho; 39 children and 3 Educators from the community of Chiconelane; 15 children and 2 Educators from Chaimite; 20 children and 3 Educators from Malehice; 48 children and 2 Educators from Maivene.

“Educadores em Movimento - uma Educação Itinerante para a Primeira Infância, Phase 2" has the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation as its main funder, AIDGLOBAL, the project manager, as its promoter, and the Chibuto District Service for Education, Youth and Technology (SDJET) and the District Service for Health, Women and Social Action (SDSMAS) as partners - entities that guarantee the project's links with public policies.
