A Commitment to Early Childhood Education
The closing events of the 2025 school year at the Community Schools were more than just celebrations. They represented moments of reflection and awareness of the importance of Early Childhood Education, encouraging new enrollments for 2026 and strengthening ties between the Communities, the Animators/ “Educators in Motion” and local authorities.
At each Community School, the graduation of children who will start primary school in the next school year was marked by the delivery of school supplies to all children who completed this stage of education, a gift from the Dr. Catanho de Meneses Primary School in Lourinhã, Portugal, which, after a collection from the school community, donated five boxes of materials to AIDGLOBAL to be distributed to the Chibuto Schools in Mozambique.
To ensure the continuity and expansion of this transformative work, AIDGLOBAL emphasizes that donations and the Sponsorship Program are crucial to the sustainability of the Community Schools. With sponsorship, children can continue to access a safe environment where they can play, learn, and grow. Donations can also be made through MBWAY “Ser Solidário” or 932 469 205.
