In order to verify whether the Little Schools have provided adequate and quality education to children, the teaching methodology and resources used as well as the level of preparation of Animators / "Educators on the Move" were analyzed. The monitoring of the Malehice and Chiconelane Community Schools was carried out, respectively, on June 12 and 13, by two techniques of the Provincial Directorate of Gender, Child and Social Action (DPGCAS), Rosa Ligeres (head of the Department of Social Action) and Laura Abrão (head of the Department of Administration and Human Resources), by the Technician of the District Health, Women and Social Action Service (SDSMAS), Rodrigues Matusse, and by the Social Worker Technician, Balbina Dhlamine. The Director of the District Service for Education, Youth and Technology (SDEJT), Flora Ozias Mate Chume, monitored the performance of the Chaimite and Chiconelane Community Schools, held on June 13 and 14, respectively.
In view of the integral development of preschool children and constituting a necessary response to the Education of children between 3 and 5 years old, in the District of Chibuto, the 2nd Phase of the project “Educators in Motion – an Itinerant Education for Early Childhood”, has as its main funder the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and as AIDGLOBAL's partners the District Service of Youth, Education and Technology of Chibuto (SDJET) and the District Service of Health, Women and Social Action (SDSMAS) – entities that guarantee the articulation of the project with public policies.
