In the scope of the delivery of the IRS declaration, taking place from 1 of April to 31 of may, 2017, AIDGLOBAL launches the campaing “Do Not Pay More or Receive Less”, an iniatiative that allows the contributor to choose, without any costs, the destination of the authorized fraction of their taxes. By selecting AIDGLOBAL as the entity to which is intended to deliver the consignment of 0,5 foreseen by the law, the contributor is helping us in our work for a Quality Education in Portugal and Mozambique.
Helping AIDGLOBAL is simple, convenient and free. For those who submit their IRS over the Internet, just select Table 11, choose the Private Institutions of Social Solidarity option. Finally, the AIDGLOBAL NIPC must be inserted (507 501 063). For taxpayers who submit their IRS on paper, it is necessary to place an X in article 32, no. 6, in Field 11, also inserting the NIPC of the Organization.
The donation doesn’t impose any financial burden on the contributor, since the percentage of the tax is withdrawn from the State. Thousands of Portuguese citizens have contributed through their tax declaration, to the mission of AIDGLOBAL, for a more just and sustainable world.
This campaing is essential for the continuity of AIDGLOBAL’s work, trough which the Organization sensitizes portuguese children and young people to the values of Education for Global Citizenship and promotes acsess to the book through the creation and equipping of libraries in Mozambique.
